Hi,
Below are some of the resources that were referenced during the session, I hope you find them useful. If there are any others that you wish to share with us please let us know.

Additionally I hope that you should have received an email with the presentation notes.
After you read this kid's story, you'll think twice about what you post on Facebook. (And that's the problem.)
Meet Cameron D'Ambrosio. He's 18 and lives in a small town outside Boston. He wants to be a rapper and calls himself "Cammy Dee" in his YouTube videos.
Oh, and he's been locked up without bail for weeks -- facing terrorism charges and 20 years in prison -- all for something he posted on Facebook.
On May 1st, Cam was skipping school and messing around online. He posted some lyrics that included a vague reference to the Boston Marathon Bombing and called the Whitehouse a "federal house of horror." Shortly after that he was arrested and charged with Communicating a Terrorist Threat, a felony that carries 20 years in prison.
The post contained no specific threat of violence against any person or group of people, and in the context of the rest of the lyrics and Cams' rap persona, it was clearly nothing more than a metaphor. A search of Cam's house found NO evidence that he was planning any violence, but a judge still ordered him held without bail for the next 3 months, pending trial. Read more

I attended the objective design process workshop today and wanted to tell you that I found it really helpful. I am a CSM graduate, and very much appreciate any opportunities I find now to 'fill out' my education with the kind of really useful information provided in today's workshop.
During my degree, I tried to do many of the extra workshops and participate in as many extracurricular learning activities as I could, but my priority was, rightly, my degree work and my portfolio. This meant that although there was some information available, I was often too busy to attend other courses, and not entirely sure which ones were valuable to me. For me, and I suspect for many others, it was only after I knew about reactions to my final collection that I could take stock and plan what to do next. Then I became aware of the large gaps in my knowledge with regard to IT issues (among others, for ex. business issues). I would be grateful for more learning opportunities for alumni.
I think the POI training is a useful concept, especially to someone like me who is trying to sort out a my online, and really my business identity. I would like to do any training, and the Lego sessions sounded very much like exactly the type of thing I need at this point in my fledgling career, but unfortunately I wasn't able to participate. In the event the opportunity comes up again, please sign me up!
Duplication, appropriation and innovation: exploring comic book art A major Lichtenstein retrospective is running currently at Tate, but LCF’s Steven Cook reveals that many viewers will be unaware that “many of his images were directly “appropriated” from comic artists like Irv Novick, Russ Heath, Jack Kirby, John Romita and Joe Kubert, who received no fee or credit.” Forthcoming show Image Duplicator, which has been featured in Creative Review and Design Boom, will exhibit artists who have created new interpretations of the comics Lichtenstein used as source material to explore the issues of appropriation, credit and originality in comic book art. TDP PROJECT JOURNAL : UAL ONLINE LANDSCAPE – A FIRST ATTEMPT AT MAPPING… - sounds like an interesting project, look forward to seeing more - DIAL http://dial.myblog.arts.ac.uk/about-dial/ are currently in the process of mapping the UALs 'hidden' open education landscape, during the past two years DIAL has identified many individuals practicing mostly voluntary open educational innovation across the university, see some UAL sites here - http://process.arts.ac.uk/category/discipline/research-practice/ual-blogs-websites
Hi Gem

this is great What type of Digital Learner are you? http://projects.exeter.ac.uk/cascade/digitalcurriculum/teachingresources/whattypeofdigitallearnerareyou/digitallearnerquiz.php#.UYKr-4Lo8Xx
If you want a reminder then http://eventifier.co/event/oer13 captures some of it, the blog http://oer13.wordpress.com/ has quite a bit and the programme (see http://OER13.org ) is in the process of adding links to the recordings and to make it a (the programme) an OER resource to be reckoned with in itself.

Government consultation deadline on 1st May
The Government is continuing to rank schools against their performance in EBacc subjects, and has extended this to A level.
Their flagship EBacc and ABacc league table measures still only count maths, English, sciences, languages and humanities.
They are currently consulting on how to hold schools to account and we need your help in responding to the proposals.
Without this, students will be pushed away from a balanced education, valuable degrees and successful careers, and the supply of creative talent to the UK's thriving creative economy will be cut.

Thank you Chronossa, its great accompaniment to read through the text you created along with Eckhart's video and thanks for connecting with us on process.arts. All the best. Chris
Hi, it is very nice of you that you use my written text about the ego on other sites other than my own :-). It is a great feeling to know that people begin to wake up and I'm pleased that you use my little blog post here. I wrote it in the present moment. Best wishes , Chronossa :-)

Really like this very simple but effective system for the 11 times table going up into the big numbers.
Thanks for taking the time to share it with us.
All the best
Steve
Great page - one thought though...the 11 times table To do any of the harder 11 times table. You just add the numbers up and put the result in he middle e.g. 10 x 11 = 1(1+1)0 = 110 11 x 11 = 1(1+1)1 = 121 12 x 11 = 1(1+2)2 = 132
In fact this is the same for all of the eleven times table (if you imagine 6 is really 06).
Even harder sums like 63 x 11 works the same 6(6+3)3 = 693. Obviously this gets harder when you end up with sums that need to carry 1 over. so 74x11 = 7(7+4)4 = 7+1carried over(14) which gives 814
Cheers
Libraries to store all UK web content - Millions of tweets, Facebook status updates and even a blog about a bus shelter in Shetland are to be preserved for the nation. The British Library and four other "legal deposit libraries'" have the right to collect and store everything that is published online in the UK.

Great, thanks for letting us know, we'll make sure to contact you as soon as we have new sessions arranged. In the mean time please have a look at some of the Learn drupal - free online tutorials - http://process.arts.ac.uk/content/learn-drupal-free-online-tutorials
Hi there,
I'd be very interested in attending Drupal sessions if you're having them?
Many thanks

Unfortunately, narcissists are setting many of the benchmarks for everyday users. Everyday users get caught up in popularity contests and experience anxieties; some report becoming depressed because they are being out-Twittered and are lacking in thumbs ups.
