Make It On The Day: Hands on experience with different kinds of Arduino kits
Session: Make It On The Day! Hands on experience with different kinds of Arduino kits provided by Nick and Phil, Chelsea College of the Arts specialist techs.
Images from the day:
About: Providing those who have never had a soldering iron in their hands the opportunity to experience building a simple fully functioning project from scratch, using printed circuit boards, resistors, capacitors and potentiometers.
What participants should gain from the day: Confidence, along with the knowledge of how to proceed with their personal projects in the future.
Scope: We will be using kits from London based innovators - Technology Will Save Us. These kits are ready to go out of the box and require no additional expense.
The project for the day will be to construct a basic games console.
Follow up: will be via Process Arts re planning the making of a MIDI controller using the Arduino or Galileo platform.
